I don’t know about you, but as a TpT seller, sometimes I have a hard time finding great clip art to go with the unit I create. Sometimes the clip art looks great in color form, and you go to copy it and it becomes a gray, drab, and boring picture. Sometimes I just want a great piece of black and white clip art that would be great for little ones to color, but alas, none can be found.
I tend to be a “Leslie Knope.” See a problem…what are the 42 different ways that it can be solved. One of my hobbies is drawing, so I have been teaching myself the art of making clip art lately, and wanted to share with you the fruits of that labor. In this package, I’ve included clip art that starts with either the long a or short a sound. I was inspired by Fountas & Pinnell’s guided reading and started with apple and ape. I love, love my little red apple and I think my ape is just darling, not scary at all for a little kid!
